Indian Air Force Recruitment For 317 Government Jobs In Flying Branch And Ground Duty
New Delhi, 5th December 2021: Job news for the candidates who aspire to get jobs in the Air Force. Indian Air Force (IAF) has released an advertisement for the recruitment of 317 posts of Permanent Commission and Short Service Commission in Ground Duty (both Technical and Non-Technical) in the Flying Branch. According to the advertisement released by IAF in Employment News Week 27 November to 3 December 2021, the candidates for appointment to all these posts will be selected through Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) to be conducted by the Air Force. The application and selection process will be conducted by the Air Force from AFCAT 01/2022 batch and NCC Special Entry in the courses starting in January 2023.
Application Process: The application process for AFCAT 01/2022 Batch & NCC Special Entry by Air Force has started from 1st December and candidates can apply through the online application form provided on AFCAT official portal, afcat.cdac.in. The last date of application has been fixed as 30 December 2021. During the online application, the candidates will have to pay the examination fee of Rs 250, which can be paid by the candidates through online means. There is no examination fee for NCC Special Entry.

Eligibility Criteria: As per AFCAT Batch 01/2022 Recruitment Advertisement by Air Force, candidates who wish to apply for Flying Branch should be between 20 years to 24 years as of 1st July 2023 i.e. born between 2nd July 1999 to 1st July 2003. At the same time, the age limit for AFCAT Ground Duty Branch is 20 to 26 years. For both types of entry, the candidates will have to fulfill the conditions of age limit as well as the prescribed educational qualification and physical criteria, which will be known from the detailed notification of AFCAT 01/2022 to be issued by the Air Force on the official website.
