195 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District; 4,814 Vaccine Doses Administered

Pune, 7th November 2021: A total of 195 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today while 254 people were discharged from hospitals. 03 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.
Today, A total of 4,814 COVID vaccine doses were administered in the Pune district today taking the total vaccination doses to date to 1,21,65,532. About 78,59,712 people have got the first dose while 43,05,820 people have got two doses.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 2141 active patients in the district and 1044 of them are admitted to hospitals while 1097 are in home isolation. Out of 195 new cases, 69 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 35 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 12 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 03 in cantonments, and 72 in rural areas.
Among the 03 deaths, one was in PCMC, one was in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), and one was in rural areas. Out of 254 discharged patients, 82 were in PMC, 33 were in PCMC, 10 were in municipal councils, 02 were in cantonments, and 127 were in rural areas.
