199 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District; 92,012 Vaccine Doses Administered
Pune, 02 December 2021: A total of 199 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today while 138 people were discharged from hospitals. 03 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.
Today, A total of 92,012 COVID vaccine doses were administered in the Pune district today taking the total vaccination doses to date to 1,33,83,284. About 81,95,476 people have got the first dose while 51,87,808 people have got two doses.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 1928 active patients in the district and 645 of them are admitted to hospitals while 1283 are in home isolation. Out of 199 new cases, 85 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 46 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 05 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 02 in cantonments, and 61 in rural areas.
Among the 03 deaths, one was in PCMC, and two were in rural areas. Out of 138 discharged patients, 45 were in PMC, 47 were in PCMC, 01 were in municipal councils, 02 were in cantonments, and 43 were in rural areas.
