2025 Volvo XC 90 Launched In India

Mumbai, 5th March 2025: Volvo has introduced the 2025 Volvo XC90 in India, stepping up its presence in the premium SUV segment. This new model comes equipped with a powerful engine and an array of impressive features designed to enhance both performance and comfort. With its stylish design and high-end technology, the XC90 aims to cater to the growing demand for luxury SUVs in India.
The SUV has an 11.3-inch infotainment system from the company. Along with this, it has many features like multi-zone climate control, digital instrument cluster, ADAS, powered and memory seats, ambient lights, panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charger, air purifier, 360-degree camera, LED lights, and more.
The 2025 Volvo XC90 SUV comes equipped with a robust mild-hybrid engine, offering a 2-liter petrol engine that delivers an impressive 250bhp and 360Nm of torque. Notably, Volvo has opted not to offer a diesel engine option for this model. The SUV is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, ensuring a smooth driving experience.
This powerful engine allows the XC90 to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.7 seconds, making it a truly dynamic and performance-oriented vehicle. Volvo XC90 boasts impressive dimensions, with a length of 4953 mm, width of 1931 mm, and height of 1773 mm. The SUV features a spacious wheelbase of 2984 mm, providing a comfortable ride. Its ground clearance ranges from 238 mm to 267 mm, making it well-suited for a variety of terrains. Additionally, the XC90 is equipped with a generous 71 – litre petrol tank, ensuring long drives without frequent refueling stops.
Volvo has launched the 2025 XC90 in India as a premium SUV, priced at ₹1.03 crore (ex-showroom). The SUV comes in six stylish color options: Onyx Black, Crystal White, Denim Blue, Bright Dusk, Vapour Grey, and Mulberry Red. The 2025 XC90 will compete with popular SUVs like the Audi Q7, Mercedes-Benz GLE, BMW X5, and Jeep Grand Cherokee in the Indian market.
