215 players for the Third Edition Millenium National School and Kunte Chess Academy presents Age Category Open chess tournament

Pune, December 23, 2023: A total 215 players will be seen in action in the Third Edition of Millenium National School and Kunte Chess Academy presents Age Category Open chess tournament to be organized by Kunte Chess Academy and Millenium National School in association with Kinder Sports LLP and played at Millennium National School, Karve Nagar on sunday 24th December 2023.

Mrunalini Kunte, Tournament Director informed that The tournament will be held under the auspices of PDCC. Millennium National School has given their facility for Chess Tournament to promote Chess in Pune. The event will be played under Swiss league format. The event will be held in 4 categories Group A: Rated category, Group B: unrated category, Group C: Under 8 category and Group D: under 10 category, .

Prominent players who have confirmed their entries for the event include rated players in open group Gaurav Bakliwal(2144), Aryan Karmalkar(1512), Sunil Vaidya(1454), Shaurya Ghelani(1161), Nivaan Agarwal(1078), Vihan Deshmukh(1223), Samyak Kulkarni (1190). The tournament has a total cash prize of Rs. 32,000 /- .

The Tournament will be conducted by Chief arbiter Deepti Shidore.
