249 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District; 59,118 Vaccine Doses Administered  

Pune, 25th November 2021: A total of 249 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today while 150 people were discharged from hospitals. 04 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.

Today, A total of 59,118 COVID vaccine doses were administered in the Pune district today taking the total vaccination doses to date to 1,28,81,576. About 80,41,283 people have got the first dose while 48,40,293 people have got two doses.

According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 2077 active patients in the district and 715 of them are admitted to hospitals while 1362 are in home isolation. Out of 249 new cases, 90 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 56 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 29 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 03 in cantonments, and 71 in rural areas.

Among the 04 deaths, two were in PMC, one was in PCMC, and one was in rural areas. Out of 150 discharged patients, 47 were in PMC, 61 were in PCMC, 06 were in municipal councils, 05 were in cantonments, and 31 were in rural areas.
