254 fresh COVID patients detected in Pune city today, 163 discharged
Pune, June 13, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 163 people were discharged from hospitals after being cured of COVID19 in Pune city today. Also, 254 new patients were detected while 14 patients died. Today swab samples of 2476 people were collected for COVID tests.
According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 9336 out of which 6087 have been cured while 439 have died. There are still 2810 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 208 critical patients out of which 47 are on ventilator support.
Across Maharashtra, there were 3427 new COVID19 cases today taking the total number of cases to 104,568 . Also, 113 people died while 1550 got discharge from hospitals after being cured. There are still 51,379 active cases. The total death toll stands at 3830, while 49,346 patients have been discharged till date, according to Maharashtra Health Department.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 308,993 across the country. Out of this, 154,329 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 8,884 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 145,779 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
