40 finalists shortlisted for ‘Mrs Maharashtra – Empress of Maharashtra 2018’ pageant
17 NOV 2018 : ‘Mrs Maharashtra – Empress of Maharashtra 2018’ finale is scheduled for 25th Nov 2018 at Hyatt Pune, on the grandest scale ever. After several rounds of auditions held across Mumbai, Pune, Kolhapur, Nagpur, Nasik, and Ahmednagar, 40 beautiful ladies will vie for the coveted title. This is the third year in a row, that this prestigious pageant has transformed lives of talented women into queens!
On the elite jury this year, are Dr Aditi Govitrikar, Mrs World 2001 & actress Ritu Shivpuri, Shibani Kashyap, nationally famous singer, who will also be performing ‘live’, besides Vinay Aranha the events lead presenting sponsor and Sumit Kumar, GM, Hyatt Pune. The versatile Aman Verma, actor & anchor, will be the celebrity host. Praful Kothari is the Organic Gifting Partner.
Mrs Maharashtra had its first showing at the Residency Club on 23rd Oct 2016, where 36 Finalists from across Maharashtra had vied for the Title
Dr Radhika Wagh and Shilpa Ojha won the coveted crown (in their respective categories).
The 2nd season of Mrs Maharashtra was held in October 2017. DIVA in conjunction with Maharashtra1 (a leading TV Channel), had orchestrated a far bigger pageant at the Courtyard Marriott in Hinjewadi. Repeated ad spots across Maharashtra had ensured all Audition venues were flooded with aspirants vying for the Title. Out of 380 registrations across the State, 40 deserving candidates were selected as Finalists. Shreya Tupe won the crown in the Silver (under 35yrs) category and Louise Damerum took top spot in Gold (over 35yrs)
DIVA Pageants have been organising the pageants, besides grooming each contestant. They have subsequently grown to conducting pageants on a far bigger scale viz ‘DIVA Mrs West India’ and more recently ‘Mrs India – Empress of the Nation’, the grand finale of which was recently held on 9th Sept’18 in a star-studded event at the Hyatt Pune.
