Krishnapatnam Port hosts 4thedition of Golden Eagles Golf Championship in Pune
Pune, November 17, 2018: The third leg of the 4th season of Krishnapatnam Port Golden Eagles Golf Championship was teed off today, 17th November, 2018 at Oxford and country club, Pune. Pune is the third of the four venues slated for this year’s series. The tournament commenced with Bangalore on 03rd followed by Hyderabad on 10th November 2018.
Legendry cricketers, Mr. Kapil Dev and Brian Lara were the key highlight of the game as they enjoyed a tee off jointly on the lush green course. The tournament witnessed participation from avid golfers across the globe which included the clients and partners of Krishnapatnam Port.
12 time Women’s Golf Champion Ms. Sharmila Nicollet along with other international golfers Ashlyn Ramsey, Nick Taylor were also present on the occasion to back the tournament and interact with the other participating players. Popular actors who play golf like Madhavan and Mandira Bedi were also a part of the tournament.
Mr. Brian Lara on the occasion said, “I am very delighted to associate with Krishnapatnam Port Golden Eagles Golf Championship. Golf is a very rejuvenating game and a great stress buster besides I have been playing it since a while now. It’s a great platform as it enables me to indulge while promote a sport that I truly love besides cricket. The competitiveness and spirit of the players at the championship was truly inspiring. Such tournaments should keep happening as it encourages more young golfers to be a part of this sport which is still picking up in India.”

The final round of the championship will take place in DLF Golf and Country club – Delhi on 23rd November ‘18.
