467 fresh COVID patients detected in Pune city today, 273 discharged

Pune, June 23, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 273 people were discharged from hospitals after being cured of COVID19 in Pune city today. Also, 467 new patients were detected while 10 patients died. Today swab samples of 3402 people were collected for COVID tests.

 

According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 13,153 out of which 7945 have been cured while 528 have died. There are still 4680 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 277 critical patients out of which 57 are on ventilator support. Till now 93,808 people have been tested in Pune city.

 

Among the 10 deaths, four were men and six women, all between the age group of 50 to 84 years. They were from Sinhgad Road, Hadapsar(2), Kothrud, Shivaji Nagar, Bibewadi (2), Aundh, Kondhwa, and Vishnu Shanti Mandal.

 

Across Maharashtra, there were 3214 new COVID19 cases today taking the total number of cases to 139,010 . Also, 248 people died while 1925 got discharge from hospitals after being cured. There are still 62,833 active cases.

 

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 440,215 across the country today. Out of this, 248,189 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 14,011 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 178,014 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
