6 Lakh Students To Appear For Pune University Exams From 12th July; Voice Of Students To Be Recorded In Online Proctored Method
Pune, 5th July 2021: Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) examinations for the second session of the academic year 2020-21 are starting from July 12. Till now, about six lakh students have applied for these examinations. This online exam will be conducted with multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in the proctored method.
The online examination will be conducted for 4,195 subjects for a total of 284 courses for various diplomas, undergraduate, postgraduate degrees, and certificates. Prior to the main examination, a mock test will be conducted from July 8 to 10.
The main examination will start on July 12 and the schedule of the examination has been announced on the website of the university. The exam will be conducted in a prescribed manner and there will be an online exam of 60 questions. Answers to 50 of these questions will be considered. A total of 30 questions will be asked for Mathematics and Statistics in Science and Engineering, out of which correct answers to 25 questions will be considered.
Dr Mahesh Kakade, Director, Board of Examinations and Evaluation, SPPU, said that in order to prevent students from misbehaving during the online exam, the voice of some students will be recorded on an experimental basis in this session exam, which will help in making the exam more transparent.
Complaints can be lodged on these matters
Failure to log in, log out, unavailability of English / Marathi medium question papers, non-appearance of figures, non-submission of papers, student being infected with covid during exams, the university conducted exams or other CA, CET similar exams coming on the same day. Students with these reasons can complain, but each complaint will be scrutinized. Students appearing for other exams will also be required to provide a hall ticket or similar proof of that exam.
Students who have not yet been able to apply on Corona background will be able to apply on July 12, 13 and 14. Separate exams will be conducted for them later on.
