634 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District; 72484 Vaccine Doses Administered
Today, A total of 72,484 COVID vaccine doses were administered in the Pune district today taking the total vaccination doses to date to 1,03,87,510. About 70,82,803 people have got the first dose while 33,04,707 people have got two doses.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 6035 active patients in the district and 2513 of them are admitted to hospitals while 3522 are in home isolation. Out of 634 new cases, 158 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 109 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 58 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 20 in cantonments, and 289 in rural areas.
Among the 08 deaths, three were in PMC, two were in PCMC, and three were in rural areas. Out of 704 discharged patients, 172 were in PMC, 100 were in PCMC, 63 were in municipal councils, 9 were in cantonments, and 360 were in rural areas.
