“There are a total of 1433 e-service centres in Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad and the rest of the rural areas. Certificates are being issued from it. The process is being implemented for 700 new e-service centres in the district and this process will be completed by the end of June. After that, more than 2100 centres will be functioning in the entire district. This will help the citizens to get the certificates in time,” informed the district administration.

Resident Deputy Collector Himmat Kharade said, “The administration is trying to ensure that everyone in the district gets the required certificates on time and at the right rate. In the next few days, students will need a large number of residency certificates and income certificates for admission. Therefore, after the results, e-service centres are likely to be crowded to get citizen certificates. Therefore, parents should immediately get the certificates.”

Kharade has appealed that if any service centre is taking more money than the fixed-rate, then citizen should lodge a complaint and action will be taken against those concerned.
