72 Players for 4th Edition of PYC Ravetkar Football League 2025
Pune, 14th June 2025: 72 players will represent 7 teams at the fourth edition of PYC Ravetkar Football League 2025 organized by PYC Hindu Gymkhana and will be played at PYC Hindu Gymkhana Club Ground from 15th to 22nd June 2025. The event is sponsored by Ravetkar Group.
Kumar Tamhane, President of PYC Hindu Gymkhana, Deepak Gadgil, Hon Secretary of PYC Hindu Gymkhana and Sarang Lagu, Joint Secretary of PYC Hindu Gymkhana said that there will be 7 teams participating with 9 players in each team. The tournament is a 6-a-side tournament with 3 rolling substitutes.
Furthermore, Abhishek Tamhane, in charge of the Tournament said that the participants who are all club members were selected in 7 teams through an auction process. The teams are also owned by members such as Belvalkar Badamikar Buzzards, Oven Fresh Tuskers, Ravetkar Titans, Falcons, Gladiators, Oza Group, SCI Warriors will be seen in the action. Nishith Hegde(4500 points, Belvalkar Badamikar Buzzards) emerged the most expensive player amongst 72 players.
Apart from that, this competition also will be held for Kids League for aged below 14. A total of 34 Kids will be drafted into 3 teams – Avengers, Shields, Guardians which will be seen in action from 15th to 18th June 2025.
A Committee comprising of Abhishek Tamhane, Sarang Lagu, Nandan Dongre, was constituted for smooth conduction of Tournament.
