731 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District; 1,55,333 Vaccine Doses Administered
Pune, 18th September 2021: A total of 731 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today while 1012 people were discharged from hospitals. 06 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.
Today, A total of 1,55,333 COVID vaccine doses were administered in the Pune district today taking the total vaccination doses to date to 96,93,826. About 67,92,617 people have got the first dose while 29,01,209 people have got two doses.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 7527 active patients in the district and 3504 of them are admitted to hospitals while 4023 are in home isolation. Out of 731 new cases, 175 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 119 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 63 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 11 in cantonments, and 363 in rural areas.
Among the 06 deaths, three were in PMC, one was in PCMC, and two were in rural areas. Out of 1012 discharged patients, 253 were in PMC, 217 were in PCMC, 65 were in municipal councils, 7 were in cantonments, and 470 were in rural areas.
