74 Pune Hotels to Give 10% Discount to Voters on Polling Day, Says SVEEP Nodal Officer

Pune, 9th November 2024: In an effort to boost voter turnout in the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly elections, 74 hotels affiliated with the Poona Hoteliers’ Association have announced a 10 percent discount for voters. The discount will be available on November 20 and 21, 2024, upon presenting proof of having voted.
Archana Tambe, District SVEEP (Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation) Nodal Officer, encouraged more voters to take advantage of this initiative by casting their ballots on Election Day. “We hope this incentive encourages greater voter participation in the elections,” she said.
The voting for the Maharashtra Assembly elections is scheduled for November 20, and the results will be declared on November 23. The voter turnout in Pune has been a point of focus for authorities, and various efforts are being made to engage the public in the electoral process.
