779 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District; 62,593 Vaccine Doses Administered

Pune, 22th September 2021: A total of 779 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today while 790 people were discharged from hospitals. 06 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.

 

Today, A total of 62,593 COVID vaccine doses were administered in the Pune district today taking the total vaccination doses to date to 99,65,336. About 69,12,501 people have got the first dose while 30,52,835 people have got two doses.

 

According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 6986 active patients in the district and 2957 of them are admitted to hospitals while 4029 are in home isolation. Out of 779 new cases, 170 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 168 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 75 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 06 in cantonments, and 360 in rural areas.

 

Among the 06 deaths, one was in PMC, two were in PCMC, and three was in rural areas. Out of 790 discharged patients, 192 were in PMC, 127 were in PCMC, 70 were in municipal councils, 9 were in cantonments, and 392 were in rural areas.
