794 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District; 23,898 Vaccine Doses Administered
Pune, 12 September 2021: A total of 794 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today while 995 people were discharged from hospitals. 06 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.
Today, A total of 23,898 COVID vaccine doses were administered in the Pune district today taking the total vaccination doses to date to 91,09,698. About 65,21,293 people have got the first dose while 25,88,405 people have got two doses.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 8,055 active patients in the district and 3933 of them are admitted to hospitals while 4122 are in home isolation. Out of 794 new cases, 196 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 127 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 70 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 09 in cantonments, and 392 in rural areas.
Among the 06 deaths, four were in PMC, one was in PCMC, and one was in rural areas. Out of 995 discharged patients, 218 were in PMC, 234 were in PCMC, 103 were in municipal councils, 14 were in cantonments, and 426 were in rural areas.
