854 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District, 1306 Discharged Today
Pune, 13th July 2021: A total of 854 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today while 1306 people were discharged from hospitals. 15 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr. Bhagwan Pawar, there are 9936 active patients in the district and 5560 of them are admitted to hospitals while 4376 are in home isolation. Out of 854 new cases, 228 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 185 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 80 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 12 in cantonments, and 349 in rural areas.
Among the 15 deaths, seven were in PMC, three in PCMC, 1 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad) and four in rural areas. Out of 1306 discharged patients, 344 were in PMC, 241 were in PCMC, 108 in municipal councils, 5 in cantonments, and 608 in rural areas.
