90 New Covid Positive Cases Reported In Pune Among 542 In Maharashtra, 1 Death Reported Today
Pune, 8th April 2023: Today, a total of 668 patients were discharged in the state. As of today, 79,96,323 COVID-19 patients have been discharged after fully recovering, resulting in a recovery rate of 98.12%. The state reported 542 new cases and 1 COVID-19 death today, bringing the case fatality rate to 1.82%. Out of 8,66,94,304 laboratory samples tested for COVID-19 until today, 81,49,141 have tested positive, which is 9.40% of the total samples.
Screening measures for international passengers arriving at Mumbai, Pune, and Nagpur airports have been implemented since December 24, 2022, due to the global situation of COVID-19. All passengers are subjected to thermal scanning, and 2% of the passengers are randomly selected for COVID-19 testing.
