949 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District; 82,378 Vaccine Doses Administered
Pune, 15th September 2021: A total of 949 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today while 787 people were discharged from hospitals. 10 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.
Today, A total of 82,378 COVID vaccine doses were administered in the Pune district today taking the total vaccination doses to date to 93,21,420. About 66,28,360 people have got the first dose while 26,93,060 people have got two doses.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 7527 active patients in the district and 3429 of them are admitted to hospitals while 4098 are in home isolation. Out of 949 new cases, 199 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 155 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 111 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 10 in cantonments, and 474 in rural areas.
Among the 10 deaths, three were in PMC, two were in PCMC, and five were in rural areas. Out of 787 discharged patients, 225 were in PMC, 101 were in PCMC, 73 were in municipal councils, 23 were in cantonments, and 365 were in rural areas.
