96 Players for 2nd Edition of PYC Ravetkar Football League 2023
Pune, July 2, 2023: 96 players will represent ten teams at the second edition of PYC Ravetkar Football League 2023 organized by PYC Hindu Gymkhana and will be played at Bounce Fitness and Sports Club, Shanti Shila Society, Erandwane from 3rd to 8th July 2023. The event is sponsored by Ravetkar Group.
Mr. Kumar Tamhane, President of PYC Hindu Gymkhana and Mr. Sarang Lagu, Hon Secretary of PYC Hindu Gymkhana said that, there will be 10 teams participating with 9 players in each team. The tournament is a 6 a side tournament with 3 rolling substitutes.
Furthermore, Mr. Abhishek Tamhane, In-charge of the Tournament said that the participants who are all club members were selected in 10 teams through auction process. The teams who are also owned by members are as follows NCS Benchres (owned by Nandan Dongre), Falcons(Satyajeet Naik Nimbalkar), Ovenfresh Tuskers (Jehan Kothari), BKB United (Nakul Belwalkar and Kshitij Kotwal), Vintage Vikings(Aashish Rathi), Ravetkar Titans (Amol Ravetkar), Blue Ramp Ninjas(Siddharth Gokhale), Warriors(owned by Alok Telang), Samosa Strikers(Chinar Oak), NH Gladiators(Harjeet Singh Matharu) will be seen in the action.
A Committee comprising of Abhishek Tamhane, Sarang Lagu, Nandan Dongre, Abhishek Bhagwat, Siddarth Date was constituted for smooth conduction of Tournament.
