Pune: Woman Extorts Rs Five Lakh From Man With Threat Of Defamation And Case
Kalyani Nagar, 9th January 2023: A young woman, who was introduced on the online app ‘Star Maker’, mentally tortured a 32-year-old man by luring him into love and forcing him to have physical relations.
A case has been registered against the woman for making a false complaint to the police and threatening to implicate him in a false crime. For this, the concerned young woman extorted Rs five lakh from the man. The incident took place between June 2021 and January 2023.
A 32-year-old youth has filed a complaint in this regard. The name of the woman who has been booked is Ritu alias Preeti Jayprakash Deshpande alias Preeti Yogesh Gahandule, a resident of Kalamboli, Mumbai. The incident happened at Gulmohar Blades Apartment in Kalyani Nagar.
According to the information, the victim and the woman had met on an online app. This young woman lured the concerned young man into love and established a physical relationship with him. The youth along with his relatives were subjected to mental torture. The young man was defamed in front of people in his office and relatives.
It has been mentioned in the complaint that the woman was threatening him stating that she will file a false complaint against him and his family and will attempt suicide.
