Pune: Provision Of More Medicines, Water For Devotees During Ekadashi Wari; Administration All Set To Prevent Risk Of Heat Stroke
Pune, 23rd May 2023: This year Ekadashi Wari will depart a month earlier. Therefore, priority will be given to supplying adequate medicines and drinking water to the devotees so that they do not suffer from heatstroke.
Following Shri Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj and Shri Sant Tukaram Maharaj Palkhi, Collector Dr Rajesh Deshmukh visited Palkhi Route, Palkhi bases, and resting places. All facilities like health facilities, mobile toilets, water, electricity, etc will be provided on Palkhi Route on a priority basis.
Additional reserve pumps will be kept at resting places, and stay points on the Palkhi route. Also, the number of tankers will be increased. Apart from this, water tanks will be placed on the Palkhi Route where necessary.
It has been planned to complete the bridge work on the Karha river and it is ordered that the Palkhi will pass through this bridge. Also, the District Collector has ordered the immediate repair of the protective walls of the bridge over the Neera River.
