Phoenix Marketcity Pune hosts SEVA MELA

Phoenix Marketcity Pune in association with Karmyo, a community of social activists organizes SEVA MELA – a unique platform to connect citizens with social organizations in the city on 1^st & 2^nd October 2017 at Liberty Square. SEVA MELA in Pune is an effort to contribute to India’s Daan Utsav or the ‘Joy of Giving Week’ that takes place every year in October 1^st week. The event would bring together over 20 nonprofits, spanning over various causes such as Education, Environment Conservation, Women Empowerment, Skill Development, Animal Protection etc. The participating NGOs will offer hand-crafted merchandise for sale or share volunteering projects or simply create awareness about their causes. One of the key highlight will be the ‘Priceless Sale’ – a charity sale based on gift economy.
