Pune: Real-Time Updates for MSRTC Buses via WhatsApp This Diwali
Pune, 29th October 2024: Commuters will find it easier to access information about Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) buses, their availability, and routes during the Diwali period. The Pune division of MSRTC has made the mobile numbers of 90 supervisors available for passengers.
Additionally, a WhatsApp number has been established for real-time updates on MSRTC bus locations. Pramod Nehool, Controller of MSRTC Pune Division, mentioned that passengers can receive information within five minutes by sending a message to the designated WhatsApp number.
Key bus depots, including Swargate and Wakdewadi, have been equipped with these facilities. For those traveling with reserved tickets, the contact number of the staff at their destination bus stand will be provided, ensuring greater transparency and ease regarding the status of reserved MSRTC buses.
The administration has also launched a contact number, 8766054235, where passengers can request bus information. Queries sent to this number will be answered within a few minutes.
