Pimpri Chinchwad Police Deploy 4,333 Personnel for Smooth Maharashtra Elections
Pimpri Chinchwad, 19th November 2024: The Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissionerate (PCPC) has deployed 4,333 police personnel for tomorrow’s Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Elections. In preparation for the elections, the police have conducted combing operations, street patrols, and large-scale preventive actions across all police station areas. A force of 4,333 policemen, including the Joint Commissioner of Police and Additional Commissioner of Police, will be deployed in Pimpri Chinchwad. Additionally, police officers and employees from Haryana have been called in. Special police teams will also be on patrol throughout the city.
There will be special deployments of both police and traffic personnel at locations where there may be congestion or traffic issues. To ensure the elections are conducted in a fear-free, transparent, and impartial manner, the police have taken extensive preventive measures and are closely monitoring all activities. The constituencies within the boundaries of PCPC include Maval, Pimpri, Bhosari, Chinchwad, Bhor, and Khed-Alandi.
The arrangements include 1 Joint Commissioner of Police, 1 Additional Commissioner of Police, 6 Deputy Commissioners of Police, 9 Assistant Commissioners of Police, 221 Police Inspectors, Assistant Police Inspectors, Police Sub-Inspectors, 3,095 Police Constables, and 1,000 Home Guards, along with forces from the Border Security Force (BSF), State Reserve Police Force, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), and Haryana Police.
