Pune: PCMC Register Case Against Two for Illegal Hoarding on Railway Bridge

Ravet, 19th February 2025: Two individuals have been charged with a crime in Ravet for unauthorized hoarding. The incident occurred on the route from Bhakti-Shakti Chowk to Mukai Chowk in Pradhikaran, where an illegal hoarding was discovered on a railway bridge.

The complaint was filed by Rajendra Chaudhary, an official from the Skysign and License Department of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), at the Ravet Police Station. Following the complaint, a case has been registered against the two accused.

According to police reports, the PCMC has adopted a strict policy regarding unauthorized hoardings. Teams have been formed to search for hoardings without permits. One such team was patrolling the road between Bhakti-Shakti Chowk and Mukai Chowk when they discovered the unauthorized hoarding on a directional sign arch on the railway bridge in Pradhikaran.

PCMC took action against the illegal hoarding and subsequently filed a criminal case. The Ravet Police are currently investigating the matter.
