PCMC Property Tax counters to remain open till midnight during final three days of the financial year

Pimpri, 22nd March 2025: With just a few days left in the financial year, the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has announced extended working hours at its property tax payment counters to facilitate taxpayers. The Property Tax Department has informed that all payment counters will remain open from 9:45 AM to 9 PM until March 28. Furthermore, on March 29 (Friday), March 30 (Saturday), and March 31 (Sunday, also Gudi Padwa), the counters will stay open till midnight — or until the last citizen is served — to ensure maximum convenience.

PCMC has set an property tax collection target of Rs 1,000 crore for the financial year 2024-25. In pursuit of this goal, the Corporation is urging citizens to pay their dues at the earliest and is offering multiple convenient payment options. Notably, even on weekends and public holidays such as Gudi Padwa, the counters will remain operational without interruption.

Sharing this update, Avinash Shinde, Assistant Commissioner of the Property Tax Department, said that this special initiative reflects PCMC’s commitment to citizen-friendly governance and timely revenue collection.
