Pune, 1st July 2025: Relatives of Pradnya Kiran More, a 35-year-old woman from Katraj who has been missing since 5th June, staged a protest outside the Pune City Police Commissionerate on Tuesday, demanding urgent efforts to locate her. Saying out loud “Find our daughter” and “Find our mother,” her children and other family members expressed deep frustration over what they allege to be police inaction.

According to the family, Pradnya had gone to Bharati Hospital for treatment of a toothache and called home after the visit, saying she was on her way back. However, she never returned. Despite filing a missing person’s report at Bharati Vidyapeeth Police Station, the family claims no significant action has been taken by the authorities in over 25 days.

The woman’s parents, children, and relatives said they searched extensively across Pune district on their own, but without success. They met Joint Commissioner of Police Ranjan Kumar Sharma and shared their concerns. The family has warned that if Pradnya is not found by 10th July, they will protest at the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly’s ongoing monsoon session in Mumbai.

JCP Sharma assured them that detailed information on the case has been collected and instructions have been issued to the Senior Police Inspector in charge. He added that the investigation has been intensified and expressed confidence that the woman will be located soon.
