Pune, 2nd July 2025: In a major breakthrough, Pune Police have arrested three burglars involved in a house theft case in Hadapsar and recovered stolen property worth ₹37 lakh, including a car, a motorcycle, cash, and jewellery. The accused used a Tata Nexon to commit the crime and had fitted it with a fake number plate to avoid detection.

According to police reports, the theft occurred when the homeowner, a resident of Hadapsar, was away on a religious trip to Akkalkot and Tuljapur. The suspects broke the lock of his house and stole valuables, including cash and jewellery. A case was registered at Hadapsar Police Station under charges of housebreaking and theft.

The Detection Branch (DB) of Hadapsar Police began an investigation, examining over 800 CCTV cameras across Pune. Through technical analysis and footage review, the team traced the movements of the suspects and identified the vehicle used in the crime.
