Pune: FYJC Third Merit List to Be Released on Thursday; Admission Confirmations Begin July 25
Pune, 24th July 2025: The third merit list for First Year Junior College (FYJC) admissions will be announced on Thursday, with the admission confirmation process scheduled to begin on Friday, according to Mahesh Palkar, Director of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.
On the final day of registration for the third round, a total of 13,621 students submitted their applications, Palkar said.
This year, admissions for Std XI are being managed through a centralized online admission process (CAP). As per official data, 4,10,498 students have completed Part II of the application process under CAP, while 82,952 candidates applied through minority, in-house, and management quotas.
Students who are allotted colleges in the third round will be able to confirm their admissions on July 25 and 26.
The admission cycle so far has seen significant progress, with over 7.2 lakh students already securing seats in the first two rounds. For this third round, students were allowed to update and submit their preference list during a two-day window between July 22 and July 23.
Education authorities urged students to regularly check the official portal for updates and adhere strictly to the schedule to avoid missing out on available seats.
