Pune: 35-Year-Old Man Dies of Suspected Heart Attack While Working Out at Pimpri-Chinchwad Gym
Pimpri-Chinchwad, 1st August 2025: A 35-year-old man, identified as Milind Kulkarni, collapsed and died while exercising at Nitrro Gym in Chinchwad Gaon on Friday, triggering panic among gym-goers. According to eyewitnesses, Kulkarni, a regular at the gym, began his workout as usual with a warm-up session. However, minutes into the routine, he suddenly lost consciousness and collapsed on the floor.
He was immediately rushed to the nearby Morya Hospital, but doctors declared him dead before treatment could begin. Preliminary information suggests a suspected cardiac arrest as the cause of death, though the exact reason will be confirmed after the official post-mortem report.
Kulkarni had been a consistent gym member for several months and was reportedly not known to have any major health issues. The incident has sparked concern and fear among other gym members and raised questions about emergency preparedness at fitness centres.
