The incident created fear among residents until the dog was later found dead on the river bank on Friday morning.
According to officials, the first attack took place around 9 am on Thursday when three citizens walking along the Manjari Khurd–Wagholi road were bitten. They were rushed to the village primary health center and later referred to Sassoon Hospital for further treatment.
