Pune, 18th September 2025: The Assistant Labour Commissioner of Pune district has issued an appeal urging unemployed youth to remain vigilant against fraudulent job offers amid rising industrialization and employment opportunities in the region.

Authorities have received complaints that fraudsters are duping job seekers by promising permanent positions in well-known companies, including Infosys, TCS, Wipro, and Hyundai Motors. Victims are allegedly being asked to pay money in exchange for employment guarantees.

The Labour Department clarified that no reputed company, consultant, or contractor is authorized to collect money from candidates for recruitment, whether for private or government jobs.

“Unemployed youth should not fall prey to such fraudulent promises. No individual or organization should be paid any amount for securing employment,” the Assistant Labour Commissioner stated.

Officials have also urged job seekers to verify recruitment details directly with companies and report suspicious activities to the concerned authorities.
