Passport Mobile Camp to be Held at Pune University from September 24 to October 1
Pune, 23rd September 2025: The Regional Passport Office (RPO), Pune, will conduct a week-long Passport Mobile Camp at Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) between September 24 and October 1, 2025. The initiative is part of the Ministry of External Affairs’ effort to speed up passport appointments and make services more accessible to citizens.
According to officials, the mobile camp is being organized following growing public demand to simplify the process and bring services closer to applicants. The Passport Mobile Van will be stationed at the Department of Commerce, SPPU, during the scheduled period, excluding the weekend of September 27 and 28.

Dates: September 24, 25, 26, 29, 30 and October 1, 2025
Timings: 8:30 am to 6:00 pm (Applicants must arrive 15 minutes before their allotted slot)
Venue: Department of Commerce, Savitribai Phule Pune University, Ganeshkhind, Pune – 411007
Appointment Process
Applicants need to apply online through the official Passport Seva portal (www.passportindia.gov.in) under the NORMAL scheme. After paying the prescribed fee, they can schedule their appointment by selecting ‘Passport Van, Pune University’ as the service location.
Document Checklist
Authorities have urged applicants to carefully review the list of required documents for both adults and minors available on the Passport Seva website before applying. As per the Passports Act, 1967, and Passport Rules, 1980, the Passport Authority may seek additional information or documents if necessary for verification.
The RPO has advised applicants to carry original documents to the camp and strictly follow their scheduled appointment timings for smooth processing.
