Pune, 25th September 2025: The Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS), Pune, has launched a series of health camps as part of its ‘Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar’ initiative. The camps, which began on September 24 and will run until October 2, are being held at the CGHS Wellness Centre in Mukund Nagar and across all CGHS dispensaries in the city.

The inaugural camp at Mukund Nagar on September 24 saw participation from both CGHS beneficiaries and members of the general public. Attendees received consultations from specialists in Medicine, Pulmonology, and Obstetrics & Gynaecology. A range of diagnostic tests — including Hemoglobin levels, Chest X-ray, Lung Function Test, Blood Pressure, and Blood Sugar — were conducted. According to officials, 2,584 individuals benefited from the services on the first day alone.

On September 25, the campaign featured interactive health awareness sessions with experts from multiple fields, including Psychiatry, General Medicine, Dentistry, Ayurveda, and Homeopathy. These sessions focused on preventive healthcare and lifestyle awareness.

A CGHS official said, “Our goal is to reach as many people as possible and provide access to both modern and traditional healthcare systems. By combining awareness with diagnostic support, we hope to empower families through better health practices.”

The campaign will continue until October 2, with daily camps and expert-led sessions scheduled across different CGHS centres in Pune.
