Pune: PMPML to Conduct Passenger Trial for Double-Decker Bus Tomorrow
Pune, 28th September 2025: Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) will conduct a trial run of its much-anticipated double-decker bus with passengers tomorrow, Monday, September 29.
The trial will take place on a designated city route in the afternoon, according to PMPML Chairman and Managing Director Pankaj Deore. “After assessing the performance of the bus during the trial, we will plan its regular deployment on Pune routes,” Deore said.
The initiative comes as part of PMPML’s efforts to modernize the city’s public transport fleet and offer commuters a comfortable travel experience. Details regarding the specific route for the trial run have not been disclosed yet.
