Pune: Muzaffarpur–Hadapsar Special Train Regularised as Weekly Express Service from December 8
Pune, 13th November 2025: Railways has announced the regularisation of the Muzaffarpur–Hadapsar–Muzaffarpur Special train service, which will now operate as a weekly express train with revised numbers. The new train service will come into effect in December 2025, connecting Muzaffarpur in Bihar with Hadapsar in Pune, Maharashtra.
Train Details
The train will run as Train No. 15589/15590 Muzaffarpur–Hadapsar–Muzaffarpur Express (Weekly).
Train No. 15589 Muzaffarpur–Hadapsar Express will depart from Muzaffarpur (MFP) at 19:25 hrs every Monday, starting December 8, 2025, and will reach Hadapsar (HDP) at 06:25 hrs on Wednesday.
Train No. 15590 Hadapsar–Muzaffarpur Express will leave Hadapsar (HDP) at 10:00 hrs every Wednesday, starting December 10, 2025, and arrive at Muzaffarpur (MFP) at 21:50 hrs on Friday.
Route and Halts
The train will halt at the following stations:
Hajipur, Sonpur, Patliputra, Danapur, Ara, Buxar, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction, Prayagraj Chheoki, Manikpur, Satna, Maihar, Katni, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Pipariya, Itarsi, Khandwa, Bhusaval, Manmad, Kopargaon, Belapur, Ahmednagar, and Daund Chord Line.
Coach Composition
The train will consist of 22 LHB coaches, including:
8 AC 2-Tier coaches
12 AC 3-Tier Economy coaches
2 Generator Vans
Withdrawal of Special Services
With the introduction of the regular express service, the existing special trains
Train No. 05289 Muzaffarpur–Hadapsar Special will be withdrawn from December 8, 2025, and
Train No. 05290 Hadapsar–Muzaffarpur Special will be withdrawn from December 10, 2025.
Reservation
Bookings for Train No. 15590 Hadapsar–Muzaffarpur Express will open on November 18, 2025, at all Passenger Reservation System (PRS) counters and through the IRCTC website (www.irctc.co.in).
