Shivajinagar, 14th November 2025: Children at the Pune Municipal Corporation’s Special Children’s School No. 14 B in Shivajinagar celebrated Children’s Day with joy as Global Group and Creative Foundation organised a special programme filled with games, activities and gifts for the students. The initiative aimed to offer an engaging experience to the children while encouraging social responsibility among young volunteers.

Global Group directors Manoj Hingorani and Sanjeev Arora said the event was designed to motivate their children and team members to develop an interest in social work and understand their duty towards underprivileged sections of society.

Creative Foundation president Sandeep Khardekar emphasised the importance of meaningful engagement, stating, “For us, the emotional value lies not just in giving gifts or financial help, but in spending time with these children and understanding their world.”

Riddhi Hingorani, Bhavika Hingorani, Nikita Arora, Global Group HR Vice President Jayshree Rao and team members Altamash Inamdar and Rekha Bhosale played musical chairs, passing the ball, bauchi and other games with the children to encourage active participation. Despite their disabilities, the children showcased remarkable enthusiasm and won prizes with confidence.

The students also performed exercises, recited prayers and presented the national anthem. They raised energetic slogans including “Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” “Jai Bhavani Jai Shivaji,” and “Vande Mataram,” adding to the celebratory atmosphere.

Riddhi, Bhavika and Nikita said the experience was deeply emotional and fulfilling and expressed their intention to visit more special schools on national days, festivals and other occasions. They shared that the affection shown by the children moved them to tears.

Global Group’s Jayshree Rao said the organisation finds immense joy in conducting such initiatives.

As part of the programme, sports and art materials such as footballs, carrom boards, badminton sets, rings, art and craft books, colouring books, drawing books, colours, brushes, notebooks, pencil-eraser sets, volleyballs and more were gifted to the children.

Sharing snacks together added to the spirit of celebrating Children’s Day in its truest sense.
