Sadashiv Peth, 9th January 2026: As part of his ongoing door-to-door outreach in Sadashiv Peth, BJP’s official candidate from Ward 25-D, Kunal Shailesh Tilak, identified disruptions in water supply as a key concern raised by residents during the latest round of interactions. Citizens reported frequent interruptions and low water pressure in several pockets of the area, affecting everyday household needs.

Residents pointed to leakages in ageing pipelines and irregular distribution as major causes of the problem. Many said the water supply often stops without prior intimation, creating difficulties for families as well as local businesses and leaving them uncertain about restoration timelines.

During his interactions, Tilak spoke with residents and shopkeepers, noting their feedback and underlining the importance of strengthening basic civic infrastructure. He said ensuring a reliable and consistent water supply is essential to improving the quality of life in densely populated and heritage areas such as Sadashiv Peth.

The outreach underscored a focus on understanding local issues at the grassroots level and working in coordination with civic authorities to improve service delivery within the ward.
