Pune, 9th January 2026: In the ‘SK Trophy’ inter-club Under-13 T20 cricket tournament organized by Pune Cricket Academy and Sagar Kamble, Specialized Cricket Club defeated Pune Police Boys team by 5 wickets, thanks to an unbeaten knock of 90 runs by Sankarsan Khandekar, and clinched the championship title.

In the final match of the tournament, held at the Tembhekar Farms Cricket Academy ground on Satara Road, Pune Police Boys, batting first, set a target of 203 runs for the loss of 1 wicket in 20 overs. Virat Bhise scored an unbeaten 118 runs off 53 balls, including 7 fours and 10 sixes. Vedant Mavaskar contributed 52 runs, helping the team reach the 200-run mark. Specialized Cricket Club chased down the target in 16.5 overs, losing 5 wickets. While chasing the target, Sankarsan Khandekar played an unbeaten innings of 90 runs off 28 balls, including 10 fours and 6 sixes. Besides him, Amar Kamat (44 runs), Zaid Kazi (23 runs), and Stephen Shirodkar (unbeaten 16 runs) also contributed runs, securing the victory and the championship title for their team.

The tournament’s prize distribution ceremony was conducted by Pune Police (CID) Mr. Dengle and Pune Crime Police Inspector Nilesh Mokashi. Vivek Bhagwat, tournament director Sagar Kamble, and Sagar Sangale were also present on the occasion. Final match summary:
