Inspection Drive in Lohgaon: PMC, New Corporators Review Pending Infrastructure Works
Lohgaon, 19th January 2026: Senior officials of the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), along with the newly elected corporators –
Aishwarya Pathare, Ramdas Dabhade, Anil Satav and Dr Shreyas Khandve – from Ward No. 3 (Viman Nagar–Lohgaon), conducted an extensive inspection tour of Lohgaon and adjoining areas to review pending civic works and identify urgent infrastructure needs.
MLA Bappusaheb Pathare was also present on the occasion.
During the visit, officials directed that drainage and stormwater lines in Yojananagar be started immediately. They also reviewed incomplete drainage and Ganesh-related works in Jagadguru Colony and instructed that these be taken up on priority. Surveys were ordered to fast-track drainage line projects in several residential pockets including Green Park, Dreams Society, Jupiter Colony, Defence Colony, JK Park, Blue Sky, Gokul Park, Ganesh Park, and Fortune City.
The inspection team also took stock of the long-pending sewage and water supply issues in Hollyhock Society, Lohgaon. Officials were told to complete water supply works at the earliest and expedite the construction of the remaining water tanks. The team further inspected the crematoriums on Lohgaon–Shinde Road and Wagholi Road and issued directions to complete the related civic works without delay.
Municipal officials emphasised the need for swift action and asked departments to ensure that development works are completed in a time-bound manner to avoid inconvenience to residents.
On the occasion, newly elected corporators from Ward No. 3 were felicitated and extended best wishes for their tenure and for the overall development of the Viman Nagar–Lohgaon area.
Among those present were PMC Chief Engineer (Drainage) Jagdish Khanore, Executive Engineer Vishal Haribhakt, Yuvraj Hande, Junior Engineer Sidram Patil, Junior Engineer (Water Supply) Shubham Ghatkar, Junior Engineer (Roads) Sunil Popale, Regional Health Inspector Dhanashree Jagdale, Health Inspector Gopal Naidu, along with Pritam Khandve, Rajendra Khandve, Dasappa Khandve, and several local residents.
