Basant Panchami 2026 Celebrated with Devotion at Ra Dha Sva Aa Mi Satsang Ghar, Pune
Pune, 24th January 2026: Basant Panchami 2026 was celebrated with devotion, discipline and collective joy at the Ra Dha Sva Aa Mi Satsang Ghar in Pune, where followers of the Ra Dha Sva Aa Mi Faith marked the sacred occasion with prayers, meditation, cultural activities and selfless service. The celebrations in Pune were held in sync with observances at Dayalbagh, Agra — the global headquarters of the Faith — and across 16 centres in the Maharashtra and Gujarat region.
The festival, observed on January 23, witnessed enthusiastic participation from adults and children alike. Special involvement was seen from children associated with the Evolutionary and Re-evolutionary Gender-Free Superhumane Scheme, ranging in age from a few weeks to 12 years, highlighting the community’s focus on unity, inclusiveness and moral development.
For followers of the Ra Dha Sva Aa Mi Faith, Basant Panchami holds deep spiritual significance. It marks the day in 1861 when Param Purush Puran Dhani Huzur Soamiji Maharaj first revealed the Divine Message for the spiritual upliftment of humanity and opened Satsang to the public. The day is also linked to the foundation of Dayalbagh in 1915 by Sir Sahabji Maharaj, who planted a mulberry tree and laid the groundwork for a culture based on service, discipline and collective living.
Preparations at the Pune Satsang Ghar began well in advance. Members from all age groups took part in cleaning, decorating and organising the premises. The centre was adorned with handcrafted decorations, creating a serene and devotional atmosphere. Energy-efficient LED and renewable lighting were used, reflecting the community’s emphasis on environmental responsibility.
Cultural, sports and seva activities were integral to the day. Children and youth participated in disciplined physical training, musical performances and devotional presentations. Women members prepared traditional eatables, while volunteers collectively handled lighting, décor and logistical arrangements, ensuring the smooth conduct of the programme.
The celebrations were guided by the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita, particularly the principle of nishkaam seva — selfless action without attachment to results. From early morning, members gathered for collective prayers, meditation and aarti, reaffirming their commitment to duty, simplicity and service.
The day concluded with expressions of gratitude and devotion at the Holy Lotus Feet of the present Sant Satguru, Prof. Prem Saran Satsangi Sahab. The Basant Panchami observance in Pune left participants with lasting memories of unity, spiritual joy and disciplined living.
