Storm, Aces register wins at KMBA Basketball League
Pune, 29th January 2026: Storm and Aces teams emerged victorious against their respective opponents in the girls’ category at the KMBA Basketball League tournament organized by the Karna Mehta Basketball Academy (KMBA)
In the tournament being held at Abil Castle Royal Towers, Bhosale Nagar, the Storm team defeated the Lynx team by a score of 31-28 in the girls’ category. Ira Palresha (10 points), Yukta Nair (6 points), Kavya Bhandari (4 points), Ananya Kalkar (3 points), Shamika Sama (4 points), and Sai Barge (2 points) delivered excellent performances for the Storm team. The efforts of Divyanka Bhosle (6 points), Radha Gupta (5 points), Sama Mahika (5 points), Arya Kalbandhe (6 points), Siyona Goyal (3 points), and Anahita Gupta (2 points) from the losing team proved insufficient.
In the second match, the Aces team, powered by the winning performances of Saisha Shende (15 points), Anaisha Agarwal (9 points), Riya Sood (8 points), Samaira Mehta (4 points), Arika Mahabaleshwarkar (2 points), and Mohi Vishnoi (1 point), overcame a tough challenge from the Sparks team, winning 46-44.
