Holi Special Trains from Pune to Nagpur, Danapur, Gorakhpur, Hazrat Nizamuddin & More Announced; Bookings Open Feb 18

Pune, 17th February 2026: To manage the Holi travel rush, Central Railway will operate a series of special train services from Pune to key destinations including Nagpur, Danapur, Gorakhpur, Ghazipur City and Hazrat Nizamuddin between February 21 and March 10, 2026. The additional services form part of 186 special trains being run across the network, including Holi Specials.

Bookings for Pune-originating special trains (Nos. 01469, 01470, 01457, 01458, 01481, 01449, 01431, 01415 and 01491) will open on February 18, 2026, at computerised reservation centres and on the IRCTC website within the Advance Reservation Period (ARP). Unreserved tickets can be booked through the UTS system.

Pune–Nagpur Weekly Special Trains (4 Services)

Train No. 01469 will depart Pune every Tuesday at 15:50 hrs on February 24 and March 3, reaching Nagpur at 06:30 hrs the next day.
Train No. 01470 will leave Nagpur every Wednesday at 08:00 hrs on February 25 and March 4, arriving Pune at 23:30 hrs the same day.
These will run as Special Trains on February 24–25 and as Holi Specials on March 3–4.
Major halts include Uruli, Daund Chord Line, Ahilyanagar, Belapur, Kopergaon, Manmad, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Malkapur, Shegaon, Akola, Badnera, Dhamangaon and Wardha.

Pune–Nagpur Weekly Special (4 Services)

Train No. 01457 will depart Pune every Wednesday at 15:50 hrs on February 25 and March 4, arriving Nagpur at 06:30 hrs the next day.
Train No. 01458 will depart Nagpur every Thursday at 08:00 hrs on February 26 and March 5, reaching Pune at 23:30 hrs the same day.
These services will run as Special Trains on February 25–26 and as Holi Specials on March 4–5.

Pune–Danapur Daily Special (32 Services)

Train No. 01449 will leave Pune daily at 15:30 hrs from February 21 to March 8, reaching Danapur at 02:45 hrs on the third day.
Train No. 01450 will depart Danapur daily at 05:00 hrs from February 23 to March 10, arriving Pune at 18:15 hrs the next day.
These will run as Special Trains from February 21 to March 2 (16 services) and as Holi Specials from March 1 to March 10 (16 services).
Key halts include Daund Chord Cabin, Ahilyanagar, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Chheoki, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Jn, Buxar and Ara.

Pune–Danapur Bi-Weekly Special (8 Services)

Train No. 01481 will depart Pune on Mondays and Fridays at 19:55 hrs from February 23 to March 6, reaching Danapur at 08:00 hrs on the third day.
Train No. 01482 will depart Danapur on Wednesdays and Sundays at 10:00 hrs from February 25 to March 8, arriving Pune at 18:15 hrs the next day.
These will operate as Special Trains from February 23 to March 1 and as Holi Specials from March 2 to March 8.

Pune–Gorakhpur Daily Special (32 Services)

Train No. 01415 will leave Pune daily at 06:50 hrs from February 21 to March 8, arriving Gorakhpur at 16:00 hrs the next day.
Train No. 01416 will depart Gorakhpur daily at 17:30 hrs from February 22 to March 9, reaching Pune at 03:15 hrs on the third day.
These services will run as Special Trains from February 21 to March 1 and as Holi Specials from March 1 to March 9.
Halts include Daund Chord Cabin, Ahilyanagar, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Rani Kamlapati, Bina, Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi, Orai, Kanpur Central, Lucknow, Gonda and Basti.

Pune–Ghazipur City Bi-Weekly Special (8 Services)

Train No. 01431 will depart Pune every Tuesday and Friday at 06:40 hrs from February 24 to March 6, arriving Ghazipur City at 19:05 hrs the next day.
Train No. 01432 will leave Ghazipur City every Thursday and Sunday at 04:20 hrs from February 26 to March 8, reaching Pune at 16:20 hrs the next day.
These will run as Special Trains from February 24 to March 1 and as Holi Specials from March 3 to March 8.

Pune–Hazrat Nizamuddin Weekly Special (4 Services)

Train No. 01491 will depart Pune every Friday at 17:30 hrs on February 27 and March 6, arriving Hazrat Nizamuddin at 20:00 hrs the next day.
Train No. 01492 will leave Hazrat Nizamuddin every Saturday at 21:25 hrs on February 28 and March 7, reaching Pune at 23:55 hrs the next day.
These will operate as Special Trains on February 27–28 and as Holi Specials on March 6–7.
Major halts include Lonavala, Kalyan, Bhiwandi Road, Vasai Road, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Bharatpur and Mathura Junction.

All Pune-originating specials will have reserved and unreserved accommodation as per notified composition, and detailed timings at intermediate halts are available on the Indian Railways enquiry portal and NTES app.
