Kondhwa, 17th February 2026: In a bid to eliminate water tankers from Ward 41, officials and local representatives have taken decisive action to ensure a regular water supply to residents. The focus is on the Mohammadwadi and Undri areas, specifically Survey No. 25, in front of Dorabji Mall, where five water tanks have been constructed.

Today, the water supply officer of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), Nandkumar Jagtap, held a detailed discussion with Shiv Sena leader Nana Bhangire regarding the initiation of regular water supply through these tanks.

Jagtap assured that the remaining 120 meters of work at the site would be completed within 15–20 days, after which water distribution through the tanks will commence smoothly.

Bhangire emphasized the urgency of resolving water scarcity issues, especially with summer approaching, and reiterated their commitment to fulfilling the election promise of making the ward tanker-free. They warned that if water supply does not begin within the stipulated time, strong protests modeled on Shiv Sena-style activism will be launched at the municipal office.

“Our fight to ensure every household in Ward 41 receives adequate and regular water supply will continue,” Bhangire said.
