Pune: Bombay Engineer Group and Centre to Host Agniveer Rally from February 23
Pune, 17th February 2026: The Headquarters of the Bombay Engineer Group (BEG) & Centre, Khadki, will organise an Agniveer Recruitment Rally under the Unit Headquarters Quota from February 23 to 25, 2026. The drive aims to induct eligible candidates into various categories under the Agnipath scheme of the Indian Army.
The recruitment rally will take place at the BEG & Centre campus in Khadki and will cover multiple trades and entry streams.

Agniveer (General Duty)
Agniveer (Technical)
Agniveer (Tradesman – 10th & 8th pass)
Agniveer Sportsmen (Open Category)
Officials clarified that participation in the Sportsmen category will be strictly limited to candidates sponsored by the Headquarters BEG & Centre, General Staff (Sports) Branch.

Sports Category: Screening Before Final Selection
Preliminary screening for sports aspirants will commence from February 16, 2026. The assessment will be conducted by a Board of Officers appointed by the General Staff (Sports) Branch.
Only candidates recommended by the board will proceed to the final selection phase, which includes:
-Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
-Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
Reporting Timings and Mandatory Documents:
Entry to the rally venue will be permitted daily between 5:00 am and 8:00 am. Authorities have stated that no candidate will be allowed entry after 8:00 am.
All eligible applicants must report with original documents for verification. The initial phase will include screening, physical fitness evaluation, software registration, and physical measurement tests.
