Pune, 28th March 2026: Pune Airport has secured the first rank in India in a national survey assessing passenger satisfaction and service quality across airports. The recognition highlights the airport’s consistent efforts to improve passenger services and provide high-quality facilities.

According to official data released by the Airports Authority of India, Pune Airport delivered outstanding performance in service quality parameters. In the same evaluation, Goa International Airport secured the second position, while Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar Airport in Indore ranked third.

The rankings are based on the ‘ACI-ASQ Survey 2025’ (Airport Service Quality Survey), conducted across airports in the country. The survey, organised by Airports Council International, evaluates passenger experience and satisfaction levels.

The assessment considered several parameters including cleanliness, security arrangements, check-in procedures, staff behaviour, availability of facilities and overall passenger satisfaction. Pune Airport emerged as the top performer across these criteria.

The awards will be presented on March 31, 2026, during the 31st anniversary celebrations of the Airports Authority of India. Officials from Pune Airport will be specially honoured during the ceremony for their contribution to improving passenger services.

Reacting to the achievement, Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohol said the recognition is a matter of pride for Pune. He stated that the ranking reflects the airport’s commitment to providing better services to passengers and added that Pune Airport will continue working towards delivering world-class facilities in the future.
