Pune Passport Office Reschedules May 28 Appointments to May 27 Due to Revised Bakrid Holiday

Pune, 25th May 2026: The Regional Passport Office (RPO) in Pune has announced the rescheduling of all passport-related appointments originally slated for Thursday, May 28, 2026. All such appointments have been advanced by a day and will now take place on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.

This change comes in response to a revised government notification regarding the Id-ul-Zuha (Bakrid) holiday, which will now be observed on May 28 instead of May 27. Consequently, all offices functioning under the Regional Passport Office, Pune, will remain closed on Thursday.

Instructions for Applicants
Applicants who were scheduled for May 28 are requested to visit their respective Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) or Post Office Passport Seva Kendra (POPSK) on the new date, May 27, 2026. Authorities have emphasized that applicants should arrive precisely at their originally scheduled appointment time. The RPO is also dispatching SMS notifications to all affected applicants to ensure they are informed of the change.

Enquiry Appointments
Individuals who had booked ‘Enquiry’ appointments for May 28 must also visit on the revised date of May 27. These applicants should report directly to the Regional Passport Office located at Passport Bhawan on the Baner-Pashan Link Road in Baner, Pune.
